2013 04 15 - Mad About Tulips @ Gardens By The Bay

Celebrate the beloved national flower of the Netherlands at Tulipmania in Singapore’s Gardens By the Bay. From April 29 to May 20, the Gardens’ Flower Field will be transformed into a dazzling carpet of tulips, featuring some 40,000 blooms in shades of red, pink, yellow, white and purple. Four miniature windmills flown in all the way from the Netherlands will complete this charming Dutch display. Drop by on Mothers’ Day weekend from May 11-12 for the Tulip Cheer festival, which will feature activities such as Gouda cheese-tasting, cultural music performances and craft workshops.
